2026 Classes

Beginning Colored Pencil – June 1–June 29, 6 pm to 8 pm (central)
Color theory, techniques for layering and blending and composition will be covered in this 6-week class. Working with botanical subjects, students will explore ways to produce vibrant color, rich neutrals, and textures. Beginning drawing skills are helpful but not required. Registration is open.

Adventures in Colored Pencil – July 6–August 10, 6 pm to 8 pm (central)
Bring your beginning colored pencil skills on an adventure! Explore the next level of colored pencil through a deeper understanding of color mixing; visual texture; mixed media; and surfaces. You’ll need to have completed a beginning colored pencil class. Drawing skills are helpful, but you’ll have simple subjects to work with each week and lots of support. Registration is open.
